eGiftable was born out of my personal frustrations buying a Mother's Day gift card. Money and national chain gift cards didn't seem personal, so I phoned a local shop near her to buy a gift card. It took a couple calls to reach the manager who said I should fax over my credit card information and she would mail the gift card to me. The "card" took 2 weeks to arrive and turned out to be their invoice pad with handwritten voucher. I slipped it in with my store bought greeting card and sent it to mom one week late for Mother's Day.
